ARE YOU ALONE TOO?

“When life takes its toll on you, you have to be strong. You can neither give up on your life nor on yourself. Giving up should not be an option for you.”

These words from that stranger still echoed in her mind. Yes, she was alone. Yes, she was not able to find any reason to work. Yes, she was not able to find any reason to live.

But today when she stands in her room and stares at that picture of an empty bench she can actually feel that loneliness. After taking several rounds of the park and tired of jogging, Meher decided to take some rest. All the benches were occupied except for that, she decided to go and sit there. It was a bit aloof from other benches under the tree but no one was sitting there. For a few days she noticed no one ever sat there. It was just she who went and sat there. She felt attached to the bench, may be it needed her company.

She was at the same page, alone, aloof, no connection with anyone. Neither people wanted to talk to her nor does she find the need to connect to the world. People have judged her, she has accepted being judged.

She is not giving up on herself. She will do things that will make her happy. She would go jogging, read books, call her parents regularly because she didn't want to ignore them anymore. She wanted to tell them who she actually was and she is not running from them anymore because she knows what she means to them. She only need people in her life who will not judge her. She wants people who are ready to listen to her, talk to her and not just hear and judge her. She wants people who are ready to accept her the way she is, no matter what her choices are.
